Drama is one of the most effective ways to promote oral language in the class. It's an active approach to learning that makes children be participants of a shared moment inside a fictitious context, based on a story they already know, that involves movement, gestures, facial expressions and emotions.
As I said in a former post , Nursery Rhymes are essential to language and children's development. In our class, children love to sing and do the actions involved in the Nursery Rhymes we've learnt, and that we recall every day with the Bag of Songs or at any moment we want them to be relaxed and have fun.
